The Academy of Music Summer Festival presents an international festival program of the highest quality that will foster an appreciation of classical music through education and performance. This summer the artists will explore a vast amount of repertoire and famous masterpieces including special emphasis on works by Felix Mendelssohn.
The roster includes world-renowned artists and rising stars in solo and chamber performances. Amongst them, violinist Mikhail Kopelman of the Kopelman Quartet;
concertmaster of the Swisse-Romande Orchestra and first violinist of the Aviv Quartet, Sergey Ostrovsky; Grammy nominee, pianist Joanne Polk; Orpheus cellist Julia Lichten; former cellist of the American String Quartet, David Geber; pianist Christopher Oldfather; violinist/violist Anat Malkin-Almani and violinist Bracha Malkin as well as many other guest artists.
